Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on television. The parents of De La Garza were from Ireland and Mexico. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26, 1976. The family moved to Texas in order to pursue a career as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she soon transferred into Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of acting roles, including commercials and independent films. She quickly found her passion to perform even in small roles. Then she moved in New York and in 2001 she scored her first acting gig on the daytime soap show All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the early part of 2000, she had smaller roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got her first role in a major series on the short-lived drama The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to star alongside some top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her role on the show was in 2006 when she was A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episode. The character from her Law & Order: LA spinoff, which was not long-lasting. De La Garza has been nominated to win several awards, including Best Supporting Actress-TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. She received the Impact Award in 2008 for her remarkable performance on the dramatic TV series of National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a recurring part in CSI Miami a few moments afterwards. She played Marisol Deko, the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. as the character Dr. Lena Solis, she has been seen most recently in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is of Italian heritage and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. She was brought up in an orthodox, religious family. Milano began her acting career when she was seven years old. The babysitter took her on stage for auditions. Out of more than 1,000 applicants her name was picked as one of just four. Milano was featured in television ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as in the American premiere of Jane Eyre.
