Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on television. The parents of De La Garza were from Ireland and Mexico. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26, 1976. The family moved to Texas in order to pursue a career as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she soon transferred into Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of acting roles, including commercials and independent films. She quickly found her passion to perform even in small roles. Then she moved in New York and in 2001 she scored her first acting gig on the daytime soap show All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the early part of 2000, she had smaller roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got her first role in a major series on the short-lived drama The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to star alongside some top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgl
